Zero-based budgeting for two

Know exactly what’s left.

RobinX gives every dollar a job before the month starts, then shows your plan and what really happened side by side. One budget, both of you, one honest total at the bottom.

If you’ve planned more than you earn, you should find out now — not on the 28th.

Add up a normal budget and the columns look fine. Add them up honestly and there’s often a gap. RobinX does that arithmetic the moment you type a number, and says so in plain language.

Money coming in

$8,100.00

Two paychecks, on the days they actually land.

Money you assigned

$8,180.00

Bills, spending, savings and debt payments added up.

“You’ve planned $80.00 more than you earn.”

That banner sits at the top of your month until it’s fixed, and it taps through to your biggest planned lines so you can decide what gives.

A finished budget in about five minutes.

Setup asks for what it needs and nothing else. Every screen ends with you closer to a month you can actually read.

1

Tell it what comes in

Your pay, how often, and the day it lands. Weekly, every two weeks, twice a month or monthly — RobinX works out the month from there.

About 1 minute

2

Pick your lines from a list

Tap the bills, spending, savings and debts you actually have — rent, groceries, the car note, the emergency fund — then put a number and a due day on each. No blank page to stare at.

About 3 minutes

3

Log what really happens

During the month you fill in the actual column. Tap any line and type, or hit Log full amount when a bill came in exactly as planned. The totals move as you go.

Seconds a day

Everything a monthly budget needs. Nothing that gets in the way.

Five sections, and that’s it

Income, Bills, Spending, Savings and Debt. One section on screen at a time, with every line in it visible — no “show more” hiding the thing you came to check.

Planned next to actual

Every line carries both numbers and a progress bar between them. The comparison is the screen, not a report you have to go find.

A calendar that knows your due dates

Give a bill the day it’s due and it appears on the month grid and in the next-seven-days list, alongside the days you get paid.

Reminders before a bill lands

A local notification a few days ahead, with quiet hours you set. It runs on your phone, so nothing has to be pushed to you.

A real payoff date

Put in a balance, a rate and what you pay, and RobinX tells you the month the debt ends. Add $50 and watch the date move.

One budget, both of you

Invite your partner with a code and you share the same month, live on both phones. One subscription covers the household.

Paste a statement

Copy a month of transactions, paste it in, and RobinX sorts the rows and guesses their section. You keep the ones you want — the reading happens on your phone.

True black dark mode

Not a dimmed grey. A real OLED black, with every colour re-picked for it and checked for contrast rather than flipped.

One price, both partners, no ads.

Budget data says more about a household than almost anything else. The subscription is what lets us keep it that way: there is nobody else to sell to.

We never sell or trade your data Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. There are no ad or analytics SDKs in the app at all.
Nothing happens without you Every figure in your budget is one you put there. RobinX never moves money and never acts on your accounts.
Your household, and only your household Rules in the database itself keep your budget readable only by the people you invited. It’s enforced on the server, not in the app.
Delete it all from inside the app Settings → Delete account removes your account and, if you’re the only member, the whole budget with it. No email required.
